And thanks for stopping by to find out a little bit more about me. As a Sydney based Marriage Celebrant with more than 14 years of experience in the wedding industry, there are 2 things I know for sure…
1. I know more than anything, how important your wedding day is to you! The amazing love and commitment you share with your partner, is something that should be celebrated in your own unique way. (and if it means I need to take off my shoes, so you can get married right next to the ocean or with the water lapping at our feet, then I will. )
2. No two weddings are the same because no two couples are the same, and when I met my couples, I always have this in mind.
There is a saying, “If you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life!” And that is exactly how I feel!!
And there is nothing more wonderful than meeting and getting to know a couple; planning and writing their ceremony, to then see their gorgeous excited faces on their wedding day. That is the best!!!!
When I’m not out and about marrying loved up couples, I’m a mum of two incredible young women who are both taking on the world with incredible gusto. My daughters make me laugh out loud and they make my heart burst with pride! We also have and adore our beautiful and sweet nature Labardor Retriever, Tessie, who has weaved her Labrador magic into all of our hearts, and leaves all of her dog hair on all of our clothes. (Also known as “Magical Fibres Of Love” )
We love our weekends away to the Southern Highlands or Central Coast, Friday drinks at our local “dog friendly” micro brewery, (love that and so does our Tessie), mid week dinner catchup with friends, anything on Netflix and we LOVE “Grand Designs”, wine nights around our fire pit listening to everything from the 70’s and 80’s (best music ever) and more recently, early morning dips in the ocean. However, winter is a bit of a challenge… brrrrr.

Lauren & Chris arrived together with just a few sprinkles starting, but we knew we had a tiny window before the heavens truly opened. No sooner had I welcomed everyone than one umbrella went up… then two… then, with a knowing glance and a laugh, they called it—mission abort! Cue the mad dash for cover! 😅🏃♀️🏃♂️🌧️
And just like that, Plan B came into play—a beautiful, intimate ceremony on the covered porch of the family home. After a few deep breaths, a lot of giggles, and a quick dry-off, they said “I do” surrounded by their loved ones. And honestly? It was perfect. 💕✨
The moral of the story? Approach your wedding day with an open heart and a flexible mindset. Things will happen—some expected, some not. But no matter what, your partner and loved ones will be right there with you… to support, to laugh, and sometimes, to grab everything and run! ☔

Sarah and Caitlin rented an Air BNB in Cronulla to have their wedding ceremony at Oak Park.
Just Sarah’s children, a few family members and their photographer was all they need to make it official. ❤️
And Mother Nature blessed us with a cool breeze (reprieve from the summer heat 🥵) and she kept the rain away too.

Nicky and Brendan. ❤️ We had only ever met via Zoom and planned everything else with emails, texts and calls. And we even signed the Notice of Intended Marriage via Zoom. Everything came together just perfectly and it was so good to give them a big hug what I finally met in person about an hour before the ceremony started.
Nicky’s dad was unable to join us in person so the ceremony was live streamed by the amazing team @ceremonycast
And I have to say that seeing Nicky walk down the aisle by herself looking like a movie star ⭐️ was one of those moments when time stands still. Just precious. 💖

After a long drive to get to Cronulla, they were thrilled that the forecast rain, did not appear this afternoon. 😃👍🏻
With just 2 witnesses, and their 2 children, Elanor and David exchanged very meaningful and heartfelt vows, with the endless ocean behind them and rain to be seen .
And to celebrate…..they had a romantic dinner for 2 booked and a weekend staying in the city. Love that ! 🥂❤️

Just a few minutes after this was taken Mother Nature unleashed one heck of a downpour 🌧️🌧️🌂🌂….. and then…. It was gone!
After some 11 years together , Drew and Rachel promised to share the rest of lives together as Mr and Mrs and as beautiful parents to their son Koa. Koa was their Ring Bearer, who was hard to wrangle for a photo as he was far too busy running around beautiful Oak Park, burning off energy…. as pre-schoolers do. 🤣
